Personality: Valka is, for all intents and purposes, your typical firebrand Nord. Hot-headed, outspoken and foolishly brave, she knows what she's worth and makes sure that everyone else does too. She is not one for fake politeness or two-facedness and doesn't take kindly to those who are two-faced. If she likes you, she'll be good to you and if you piss her off, she'll treat you like the dirt on her sole. It's that simple. She does not let go of grudges easily and finds it hard to trust. Or commit to a relationship, for that matter. Despite this, she may also become a charismatic flirt at times, vexing those she fancies to take her to bed. Most of the time, it works, so be careful. This girl lives for battle. She relishes every second in combat and that euphoria strengthens her.
History: Valka Half-Moon, born in the settlement of Ivarstead, had a normal childhood. Her father was a hunter and taught her how to shoot a bow. She had a brother three years her elder that she looked up to as a role model. Sadly, her childhood wouldn't stay normal for long.
At the age of sixteen, she was abducted by a villainous band of Daedra worshipers who intended to use her as a sacrifice to summon forth the Daedric Prince Hircine. But it would appear that the Lord of the Hunt denied such an offering and instead turned young Valka into a werewolf. With the new form, she dealt swift retribution to the cultists. After the ordeal, guards from the Rift were able to secure her and return the girl to her family. Fearing that she may rampage out of control and harm her parent and brother, she made the decision to go her own way from that point on, becoming an adventurer and sometimes sword for hire.
After some two years, eighteen year old Valka found a pack of werewolves that she could call home, led by a powerful (and lecherous) alpha named Fenris. They gave this wide-eyed, inexperienced girl support when she needed it most. For reasons not to be touched upon, the alpha took a great liking to her and deemed her worthy of being his mate. The naive girl was honored by such a statement and felt proud to carry his child in her womb. Upon the birth of this child, however, it was discovered that she did not bear the wolf blood at all. Fearing that the child, named Vera, would become a burden to the pack as a whole, the Alpha cast out his mate and his child with the heaviest of hearts. And without any experience in maternal affairs, Valka left her daughter with her own family, confident that they'd take care of her 'till the time was right. She was now truly alone in the wide world.
The road proved invaluable in forging the Valka we see today. She has now become a true and proper adventurer, brave and bold. Sky's Haven was now her next stop after a taxing excursion in Haafingar.
Other Info:
- She calls people by meat names (lamb shank, mince meat, etc.). Take from that what you will.
- She unsurprisingly has an affinity with wolves.
- She can hold quite the drink, able to down a dozen bottles of mead without even feeling tipsy.
