------ Appearance ------
Race: Nord
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Skin Tone: Mostly pale, though it has a slight fairness to it
Hair: Raven coloured, tied in a loose ponytail with several strands falling down at the fringe.
Height: 5'1
Weight: 137lbs
Eye Colour: Deep Blue
Physique: Slightly thick and muscular at the chest
Armor: She wears a full set of robes varying between Jet Black and Crimson Red which she sewed herself to protect against Skyrim's harsh conditions. She sports a black tunic made of rough cotton which is quite tight and form-fitting along the arms, however the ends of the sleeves are looser to accommodate her black leather gloves, which she fits under them. Over the tunic is a grey cloth tabard which is stitched together at the waist and extends down to the knees. Likewise, her trousers are black and loose-fitting which go down covering black roughspun leather boots. These are all often covered by a cotton, flowing, thick, and baggy crimson red hooded robe which is designed to cling to the body at certain places, such as the head or wrists. Weapons: Her sword is a straight blade with the tip curved on one side, many years of neglect having given it a faded metallic look. The hilt has been wrapped in a thin, brown leather strip to make it more comfortable to use, and it has a thin silver cross-guard which sports outward curves on it's underside. Her staff has been carved to painstaking precision from an oak tree branch and smoothed over, but it retains it's brown bark hide with the edge which connected the branch to the tree serving as the crown of the staff, jagged and splintered. ----- Personal Information -----
Place of Birth: The outskirts of Falkreath Hold
Profession: Adventurer (Moonlights as a seamstress)
Relationships: None
Affiliations: None
History: Sera was born Sera Blade-breath in the outskirts of Falkreath, in a Tavern owned and tended by her Father, a Retired Dunmeri Spellsword, and her Mother, a Nordic Barmaid and former merc. Her family was somewhat unique to a degree; having a history of adventuring under many different names, as they had a family tradition of renouncing their second name when they came of age to go out into the world and literally make a name for themselves. She enjoyed a relatively free and simple childhood; most of her time was spent helping out around the tavern with different jobs and errands. She enjoyed working there, in no small part due to the fact that she would often find herself hiding in the dark corners and storage cupboards because she kept stealing sweetrolls (talking her way out of the situation when she couldn’t hide). Being the child of two races, she is a hybrid in terms of personality: instilled with the personal honor and love for a good dust up that a Nord oft possesses along with the elven lust for knowledge...and just a little bit of the arrogance, though that was probably just her father. Unfortunately she was not as strong as either of her parents, being physically average at best and possessing little magical prowess despite studying some basic spellbooks. Eventually, she just conceded and opted to study something less adventurous where she found quite a talent for sowing.
One day, Sera and her Mother ventured into the woods to hunt for fresh food to keep their guests bellies full. Strangely, they didn't find any deer or rabbits around despite the area usually being flooded with such animals. It wasn’t until they made their way further into the woods that they discovered fresh corpses, all mauled beyond recognition. They tracked the blood and death to a cave in which they discovered a bear that had been attacking travellers and animals in a crazed hunger. Quickly overpowered, Sera almost watched her Mother die that day, had she not released a blast of electricity which warded the bear off. She was always capable of using Magic, the bear attack just gave her the mental and emotional push she needed. She couldn’t use magic in the beginning because in her mind, she was deathly afraid that she would fail her parents, who had high hopes that she would follow their footsteps and become an adventurer.
Now free of her fear, she devoted most of her time to learning spellcraft whilst still keeping a working knowledge of swordcraft thanks to dear old mama. When she came of age, she gathered supplies, said her farewells, and weaved some new robes for herself. She then followed her family tradition and renounced her name, leaving her home for Sky’s Haven to make a name for herself. After all, where better to find glory than the town started by Skyrim’s greatest legend.
